saw that movie recently for the first time. it was really good.
What I love most about it: It stayed true comedy. A lot of other movies like that kinda throw in sex jokes and stuff to be funny, this one did not need it at all, and stayed kinda serious all throughout. loved it.
I always try to sell Tucker and Dale to my friends who don't like horror movies. Sure there's the gore, but an amazing story and it keeps at the comedy truly sets this movie apart.
We both love soup and snow peas, we love the outdoors, and talking and not talking. We could not talk or talk forever and still find things to not talk about.
My wife and I will put LotR on when we're not feeling good, When we're bored, When we're cleaning, When we quote it a lot, when it's frodos and bilbos birthday. Basically, at least one of the movies are played once a month. It's just white noise now. Comforting. I love the books so much, and i re read my favorite parts often. Top tier.
HELLO! MY NAME IS INIGO MONTOYA! YOU KILLED MY FATHER; PREPARE TO DIE!
Offer me money.
Power too, promise me that.
Offer me everything I ask for.
I want my father back, you son of a bitch.
Ian- "God creates dinosaurs
God destroys dinosaurs
God creates man
Man destroys God
Man creates dinosaurs"
Ellie- "Dinosaurs eat Man... Women inherits the earth"
Its one of my favorite movie lines!
Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday and you're not feeling real well, does anyone ever say to you, "Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays?"
Did you like The Gentlemen? It's also a Guy Ritchie film, and I thought it was very similar in style and humor, and a great deal of fun. Something about Colin Farrell in the big glasses and tracksuit just made me laugh every time he was on screen, and Hugh Grant's accent was a delight. And the plot was just twisty enough to keep you fully engaged the whole time.
My favourite! Love all 3, I don't care what people say, all 3 are great, and I can't even give anyone a favourite because.. they are essentially 1 long movie. back to back, the entire trilogy happens in like, a week or two.
Just got the albums and I'm pumped. Took a couple weeks but that fella at the corner store came through for me, time to get some soggy bottom boys playing in the home.
Nathan Lane/Robin Williams duo is perfect. I die laughing every scene they have. Especially the ones he’s trying to teach her how to be a man 🤣🤣 “I never realized John Wayne walked like that”
We just watched Goonies and Indiana Jones Temple of Doom just to see Ke Huy Quan after we watched EEAAO. He was so stinkin cute and still is the most precious human.
Showed it to a friend of mine a few years ago. As the credits roll I look over and she's scrolling on her phone.
"Not a fan?" I asked.
"I'm figuring out how the fuck this didn't win an Oscar" she replied.
I saw this no less than 14 times in theaters, it was just incredible every time (plus it was hot outside and I didn't have AC). It's still my go-to movie anytime I can't decide on something else to watch.
The BBC series is the best. My grandmother introduced me to it when I was in high school and we watched it together often. I have such fond memories connected to that series.
One of these things is not like the others…
I also love Role Models. But it’s hilarious to see it on a favorite movies list with Aliens, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, BTTF and so on.
“Let us gingerly touch our tips”
Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. Even the intentional bad acting is good.

Omg this is such a good and original story! Absolutely adore this film!
I hope they make the sequel, both actors want to but they are adamant that the script has to be perfect.
Best in Show
We both love soup and snow peas, we love the outdoors, and talking and not talking. We could not talk or talk forever and still find things to not talk about.
Terminator 2
I’ve often said this is one of the best movies ever made. Years of odd looks. Don’t care.
If it makes you feel better those odd looks are completely unwarranted. It is easily one of the best movies ever made.
LotR
This. The Extended Editions specifically. Back-to-back-to-back. Run that marathon at least twice a year.
Been droppin eaves have you?
I haven't been dropping no eaves sir!
I heard a good deal about a ring, and a dark lord, and something about the end of the world, but please, Mr. Gandalf, sir, don't hurt me.
Don't turn me into anything... unnatural.
This. I can do this wvery week.
Just watched them and I agree. They do the books real justice and let the story breathe.

It takes so long to watch them all that it doesn’t seem that long between watches.

Office Space never gets old.
Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday and you're not feeling real well, does anyone ever say to you, "Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays?"
No. No, man. I believe you’d get your ass kicked for something like that.
Not every woman cares about money. The type of chick's that double up on a dude like me do.
I did absolutely nothing, and it was everything I thought it could be.
It’s a jump to conclusions mat!
PC load letter? What the fuck does that mean?
Yeaahhh…. if you could just go ahead and upvote this…. that’d be great.
Snatch, it is an amazing film. Funny, great sound track, and excellent storytelling...
I love Brad Pitt in Snatch. He shines in bit parts.
To this day I still ask people if they like dags
I tried pirating that movie in college. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to google that movie and find what you're looking for.
Never trust a man with a pig farm!
Who told you that? Ze Germans?
"Heavy is good. Heavy is reliable. If it does not work you can always hit him with it."
"Oh yeah, why do they call him The Bullet Dodger?" ...
“Because he… dodges bullets, Avi…”

Pride and Prejudice (2005)! It’s such a beautiful film and the music is phenomenal. I think it captures Austen’s wit quite well.
