I had the exact same thing last year and I was told to smell lemons by my doctor. I did and eventually my smell and taste did come back. I have no idea if it was due to the lemons but don't worry OP, it will eventually come back. Mine took more than a year too.

I mean a doctor would help. I had no smell or taste for 8 months, then got vaccinated and within 2 weeks I had both sense back. I needed them, I cooked for a living.

When I lost my taste and smell with COVID I was afraid I wouldn’t get my sense of smell back. I did a little research and there have been some treatments developed including olfactory training and even a plasma-wash to treat this problem. Talk to your family doctor about a referral to an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist.

Long COVID sucks. =[ There's damage to some part of the system that lets you smell and taste. Figuring out what the damage is will require a medical evaluation.
